I got a message about two months ago to take a family picture after Christmas, here are a few pictures from a few weeks ago. I had such a great time with the families and really just enjoyed taking the “silly” pictures with not only the kids but the adults, which I will keep hidden for the time being Well I hope you enjoy and leave the family some love below in the comments!
Meagan Van Engen has been a good friend over the last 4 years at college and when I first got into photography she willingly let me take some pictures of her and I thought it would be fitting to take some pictures after we graduated as well. Meagan did insist that we go back to one door that had the number “27″ above of it. Once I got back and looked at the pictures I realized she did the same exact pose again. So the last picture is one from my first shoot and the other is from this one… So enjoy!
So I had a wedding in VA and had the chance to stay with my good friend Jeff, Jeff had just gotten a new car and I had the pleasure to drive it as well as taking some pictures of it, and here are a few of the shots!
So my sister is interested in learning the art of capturing life, aka photography. So I took her our in Wake Forest, where we could walk around and scout out some new places, and here are a few of the shots that I took.
I had the awesome opportunity to shoot this lovely couples wedding in just less than three weeks after this engagement session! While talking with Sarah about her wedding, we decided to squeeze in a quick little engagement shoot. This couple is a TON of fun and has a great sense of humor be on the lookout early July for some wedding pictures of these two!
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Andrew over the past year through working as a photographer and working with the radio station on campus. So before I left town I wanted to do a little something for Andrew and here are a few pictures!
While I was living in Lynchburg, VA and going to Liberty, I was asked by a friend to take some pictures of her “Leadership Teams” so after finally getting a day where all the girls could meet up the weather took a turn for the worse and we moved the shoot to Liberty’s Snowflex the day of. Luckily we were able to take a few pictures just outside of one of the doors (where I got to sit inside taking pictures). But for the change of plans this was one of my favorite last minute changes!
While working at Liberty University I had the pleasure of working for Carrie Barnhouse. Carrie is a creative professional and wanted some new head shots for her new blog she was working on. Luckily when we decided on a date it snowed the day before and it allowed us to get some pretty awesome shots!
Chelsea is another girl from my high school (Neuse Christian Academy) and asked for me to do her pictures. She already had a few locations in mind near where she lived and ended up in downtown Raleigh. Upon graduation Chelsea also went to Liberty University (my alma mater)!
Nearing the end of 2011 I had a small problem with my facebook page. I had 666 likes and that had to change, so it was time for a game. So I held who could get the most likes contest and in return I would give them a free photoshoot. In the end Adalia came out on top and we took an evening in Downtown Lynchburg and here are a few of the final shots!
